Avr-3806 firmware update
Could you guys shed some light on this for me?? Bottom line is that if risks involved are a real possibility, I might as well leave the current firmware untouched and keep enjoying my the way I've been doing thus far.
Is there anybody willing to chime in?? Well, I can't say that I have upgraded the firmware in a piece of stereo equipment yet. I think it is a cool feature. If you can get 7. My thoughts: If you don't need those extra features right now, and feel uncomfortable, then wait.
Maybe by the time you want to do it you will have some feedback from other users. Is this firmware update a release by Denon? Are they guaranteeing the firmware upgrade at all in case something does go wrong? What about taking it to a certified Denon dealer and letting them do it for you? Sure enough, I found this thread on the AVS forums. This firmware update was a bit of a challenge as it requires a DB9 serial cable. Conclusion: The Denon firmware fixed the problem.
I can only speculate that the 3. The is HDMI 1. Previously when I tried this, I would get no sound from the Denon as expected. So clearly the firmware update has changed the HDMI behaviour. Location: Texas. The older 's could not pass 7. SamS , Sep 18, Reading that chart more closely indicates on the original and had those problems.
