In any case, that didn't happen, so what are my options? I wouldn't actually run the full EMC installer, but would instead try to directly install just CinePlayer. Is this possible? MSI installer. It throws an error saying "Please run Setup. Is my only alternative completely removing EMC 9, reinstalling 8, and then upgrading in place over 8 to 9? I thought the Cineplayer from EMC 8 could be installed by itself, but unfortunately, you found out it could not.

I don't have a solution for you. I spent hours cleaning out the Registry by hand. What a pain in the kishkes I've since ripped out all Roxio stuff on this machine and installed Nero 7. Sign up for a new account in our community.
